Infrared Sauna Health Benefits

flower-photo
Your Jacuzzi® infrared sauna produces the same infrared heat produced by the sun. Infrared heat is required for all living things for optimum health. The radiant heat from your Jacuzzi® infrared sauna surrounds you and penetrates deeply into your joints, muscles and tissues increasing oxygen flow and circulation. As a result, there is an array of infrared sauna health benefits.

Using your Clearlight® Premier or Sanctuary Sauna helps to remove impurities from your cells, specifically the cells inside our fat where our body stores waste and harmful toxins such as cholesterol and heavy metals. When used properly, your Jacuzzi® infrared sauna will help improve your overall wellness.

Infrared heat is all around us and you have felt it from sources like fire, heated sand on the beach and the sun (without the harmful ultraviolet waves that the sun gives off). Just as visible light has a range of wavelengths (running from red to violet), so does infrared light: longer wavelength infrared waves are thermal, while short or near infrared waves are not hot at all, in fact, you cannot even feel them. It is the far infrared energy that is most beneficial, penetrating the skin and increasing circulation to help rid the body of harmful toxins. Near and mid infrared enhance the benefits of far infrared.

Top Ten Infrared Sauna Health Benefits

Weight Loss & Increased Metabolism

health-benefits-sauna-weight-loss
According to the Journal of the American Medical Association, regular use of a sauna imparts a similar boost on the cardiovascular system as running. As you relax in the gentle infrared heat, your body is hard at work producing sweat, pumping blood and burning calories.

As your body increases sweat production to cool itself, your heart works harder to pump blood at a greater rate to boost circulation. This increase in your metabolism will burn calories. Read more about infrared sauna weight loss.

Muscle Pain Relief

health-benefits-muscle-pain
Increased blood circulation carries off metabolic waste products and delivers oxygen-rich blood to oxygen-depleted muscle, so they recover faster.

Muscles relax best when tissues are warm, for greater flexibility and range of motion. Far Infrared heat relieves muscle tension. The deep heat of far infrared saunas help peripheral blood vessels dilate, bringing relief and healing to muscle and soft tissue injuries. Infrared heat also reduces soreness on nerve endings and muscle spasms as muscle joints and fibers are heated.

Immune System Boost

health-benefits-immune-system
How does infrared heat benefit the body? Fever is the body’s natural mechanism to strengthen and accelerate the immune response, as seen in the case of infection.

This enhanced immune system, combined with improved elimination of toxins and wastes via intense sweating, increases your overall health and resistance to disease.

Detoxification

health-benefits-detoxification
One of the biggest infrared sauna health benefits is its ability to increase your blood circulation and stimulate the sweat glands, releasing built-up toxins in the body.

Daily sauna sweating can help detoxify your body as it rids itself of accumulated highly toxic metals (lead, mercury, nickel, and cadmium) as well as alcohol, nicotine, sulfuric acid, and other organic and inorganic compounds.

“It has been known for decades that sweating is a wonderful way to get rid of stored chemicals, including heavy metals. In fact, sauna is one of the detoxification procedures used in the Environmental Units in Dallas (Dr. William Rea) and North Charleston (Dr. Allan Lieberman) where the sickest of folks go to heal.” Dr. Sherry Rogers, Total Wellness, May 2000.

Improves Appearance of Cellulite

health-benefits-cellulite
Cellulite refers to superficial pockets of trapped fat, which cause uneven dimpling or “orange peel” skin. It appears in 90% of post-adolescent women and is rarely seen in men. Common, but not exclusive areas where cellulite is found are the buttocks, thighs, and the abdomen. Contrary to popular belief, cellulite is not related to obesity, and the appearance of cellulite is not always reduced by weight loss.

Since the far infrared radiant heat of the Clearlight Sauna® warms three times as deep as conventional saunas, it is significantly more effective at reducing cellulite. There is a direct link between the slowing of metabolic rates and the storage of toxins in fat cells. Sauna use and far infrared heat can increase heart rate and localized blood circulation, which essentially reverses the above-mentioned trends towards the accumulation of liquids in the fat cells to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Ease Joint Pain and Stiffness

health-benefits-joint-pain
Time spent in an infrared sauna benefits patients suffering from many forms of arthritis. Radiant heat has also been effective in the treatment of sprains, neuralgia, bursitis, muscle spasms, joint stiffness and many other muscular-skeletal ailments. Much of the stiffness, aches and soreness that comes with aging is reduced.

Stress and Fatigue Reduction

health-benefits-stress-reduction
Just a few minutes in the gentle warmth of an infrared sauna will help you feel relaxed, rejuvenated and renewed.

Many Jacuzzi® Sauna customers comment on how much they look forward to their Clearlight Infrared Sauna™ session, as it’s a great time to get away and release any built-up tension and stress. It’s like having a day spa in your home, open all the time for your convenience.

Infrared Saunas have also been shown to affect the autonomic nervous system putting you in the parasympathetic (rest and digest) state allowing your body to heal.

Improves Skin

health-benefits-skin-improvements
The profuse sweating achieved after just a few minutes in your Clearlight Sauna carries off deeply embedded impurities and dead skin cells, leaving the skin glowing and immaculately clean. Increased circulation draws your skin’s own natural nutrients to the surface.

You’ll see improved tone, elasticity, texture and fresh color. Increased blood circulation has also been shown to relieve acne, eczema, psoriasis, burns, lesions and cuts. In addition, open wounds heal more quickly, reducing scarring.

Better Sleep

health-benefits-better-sleep
Time and again, people report that sleep has improved with regular use of their Infrared Sauna. This is because time spent rejuvenating in the healing infrared heat allows the body to relax into the calm, parasympathetic state (resting, digesting, and healing), while providing a respite from time spent in the stressful, sympathetic state (fight, flight, and constriction).

Eventually, the set point of the autonomic nervous system can return to a normal healthy balance and adrenal function is strengthened, which often results in the natural restoration of sound sleep. When the body is given the proper environment to thrive, a return to harmony is the natural response.

Improves Heart Health

health-benefits-heart
Study after study is showing that regular sauna use can significantly boost cardiovascular health via improved vascular endothelial function. In layman’s terms, this basically means that the heat of the sauna dilates blood vessels, increasing the volume of the inner lining of the vessels; then, as your body cools the blood vessels contract. The process is akin to a sort of fitness training for your blood vessels.

This exercising of the blood vessels promotes healthy blood pressure, reduces the risk of stroke, heart attack, and general cardio dysfunction. Research also shows that frequent sauna use reduces the risk of fatal cardiovascular events.

“Besides the fact that technologically they are the best, they detoxify the body 87% better than a normal sauna.”
Using your far infrared or full spectrum Clearlight Sauna on a regular basis helps to promote a lifetime of healthful living through the many benefits of infrared therapy.

Always talk to your physician before using an infrared sauna. Sauna use is contraindicated for certain conditions. Click here to learn about infrared sauna contraindications.

Our Clearlight IR sauna arrived a few days ago. My 17 yr. old son and I put it together in about 30 minutes. It is just beautiful, like a piece of furniture. My whole family has used the sauna several times and it is wonderful. I will admit that I was initially a bit skeptical about having a good sweat at lower temperatures. Now I am totally converted. My wife never liked traditional saunas because they are such a hot and “hostile” environment. She has used our Clearlight Sauna every day since it arrived and loves it.

As a healthcare provider, I have been familiar with the health benefits of IR light for years. I appreciated that Clearlight Saunas didn’t just talk about the potential benefits but provided references for the recent research regarding these benefits.

Thanks again for all your help. It was a pleasure working with you. Your customer service is beyond my expectations. That is something that doesn’t happen very often.

INFRARED SAUNA WEIGHT LOSS & CLINICAL STUDIES

Infrared Saunas Weight loss
Jacuzzi® infrared saunas were specifically clinically tested for weight loss. Binghamton University (SUNY) in New York used a Clearlight Premier™ IS-3 for their weight loss trial with remarkable results.

Heat therapy benefits the body in numerous ways and one of the biggest benefits is weight loss. Many gyms and health spas include saunas as part of their amenities because of the weight loss benefit.

What causes sauna weight loss? How do traditional and infrared saunas compare for shedding weight? What is the research? See the answers to these questions below.

Sauna Weight Loss Studies

A two-phase, sauna weight loss study conducted by Binghamton University in New York revealed that an increase in core body temperature resulted in a decrease in body fat. It concluded that people who used a Clearlight Premier IS-3 infrared sauna three times a week for 30 minutes per session dropped an average of 4 percent body fat over a four-month period. For a 175-pound man, that represents a weight reduction of seven pounds.

Participants who experienced infrared sauna weight loss did not change their exercise or diet patterns during the study. Control groups in the study who did not use the Clearlight Sauna® showed no drop in weight. The study findings illustrate the significant boost that infrared therapy provides for our weight loss goals.

Benefits of Sauna Weight Loss

Losing weight requires a lifestyle change, but it doesn’t necessarily mean there’s a magic number we must all aim for in order to be healthy. According to the Obesity Action Coalition, a weight loss of 5-10 percent greatly benefits a person’s overall health. This achievable goal can improve cholesterol levels, alleviate hypertension, prevent diabetes, aid in combating sleep apnea and inflammation of the body, and reduce stress.

Stress is often a hidden contributor to struggles with losing weight. High stress levels contribute to the fat we hold in our mid-sections, especially the belly, hips, and thighs which makes us feel sluggish and quite literally weighs us down. When stress contributes to weight loss, it cannot be eliminated through diet and exercise alone. By using a far infrared sauna as part of a comprehensive weight loss plan, you may experience a noticeable difference in how you look and feel and you will notice your stress melt away.

Weight Loss by Sauna Type

Traditional saunas ease sore muscles and increase blood flow in a room typically heated to 180-220°F. This provides a great environment to relax and unwind. While beneficial, traditional saunas heat only the room you are sitting in and not your body directly. This makes weight loss by a traditional sauna limited when compared to an infrared sauna. This is an important distinction as the body stores toxins in fat cells and this may effect your bodies ability to lose weight. Infrared saunas target these toxins.

In contrast, an infrared sauna session heats your body directly raising your core body temperature as your body absorbs the infrared heat. This boosts your cardiovascular, lymphatic and immune systems creating a fat based sweat to help your body detox. Using your infrared sauna you are able to eliminate toxins while energizing your body in a safe, comfortable way.

Far infrared heat has also been found to slightly increase human growth hormone production (HGH) and lower cortisol levels which aids in greater weight loss and overall better health. The end result is safe and effective infrared sauna weight loss and lots of additional health benefits.

Toxins and Weight Loss

In addition to hindering weight loss, too many toxins can make the body feel fatigued, cause muscle aches and pains and lead to skin reactions like acne breakouts or rashes.

In the featured video below Dr. Raleigh Duncan, founder and designer of our Clearlight Sauna® models, explain the direct relationship between weight loss and the toxins called obesogens as well as the chemical BPA. He explains that as a fat cell becomes toxic the cell cannot lose the fat even when you are eating really well and exercising.

Dr. Duncan states, “The sauna gets the toxins out and then the fat will start to come off. That’s how the whole system works.”
Infrared sauna weight loss is easy, comfortable and relaxing. It is just one of the many infrared sauna health benefits. Infrared heat has been used for wellness for many years and is a tried and true option to increase your overall wellness.

I’ve owned and used my Clearlight Sauna for about three months now and thought I’d let you know my impressions regarding its effectiveness and value. I absolutely love my sauna! Thank you for selling such a wonderful and effective product! My Clearlight sauna has made a very positive and significant improvement in my overall health and quality of life. I have only one major regret – I wish I had purchased it many years ago, so I could have started reaping the benefits of using it that much sooner.

The main benefits I’ve noticed from using the sauna are:

1. Better recovery from exercise – I used to have sore shoulder joints after weight training (I’m 54). Now, I hit the sauna after weight training and I don’t get sore shoulders anymore. I also seem to recover faster from exercise (my muscles don’t get sore).

2. Increased well-being – I now have a tremendous amount of energy. I seem to need less sleep and I feel full of life. I attribute this improvement to the resultant reduction in body toxins from using the sauna.

3. Decreased body fat – After using this sauna for three months my waist is about one inch smaller than before. This could have been caused by a variety of factors (such as all the extra water I drink in the sauna), but the fact is that I didn’t lose that body fat until after I started using the sauna.

My Clearlight sauna is a first-class product and it works every bit as well as you claimed on your website. Now that I’ve owned and used a Clearlight Sauna, I look forward to purchasing another sauna from you sometime in the future… and this time I’ll buy your top-of-the-line model. I trust your company and product that much, but only because you’ve earned that trust. Thanks, again, for selling me such a terrific sauna!

INFRARED SAUNA DETOXIFICATION

Why Detoxify?

Sauna therapy for detoxification and healing is an alternative health option, which benefits the body in more natural and organic ways. Because an infrared sauna heats the body from the inside out, infrared sauna detoxification not only eliminates chemicals and other toxins from the body but also helps ease soreness and allows the body and mind to fully relax.

Clearlight Infrared Saunas are used exclusively at the Hippocrates Health Institute.
Throughout the years, infrared sauna sessions have proven beneficial for both physical and mental health. The process of infrared sauna detoxification, specifically, helps improve circulation, increase metabolism, and achieve overall wellness within the body. But, what makes it so important to detoxify?

Why Is Detoxification Important

Excerpted from: Literature Review & Comparison Studies of Sauna/Hyperthermia in Detoxification
Townsend Letter for Doctors,
June 1992
Zane R. Gard, M.D. & Erma J. Brown, BSN, PhN

The past 150 years have been a time of incredible progress in medicine, science and industry. Because of these advancements we now enjoy longer, more productive lives. However, there are many who pay a tremendously high price for our modern lifestyle. The by-products of our chemical technology have resulted in ubiquitous contamination of our atmosphere, lakes, oceans and soil. Our natural environment is now permeated by a barrage of “unnatural” substances.

Unquestionably, many of the chemical sources have been in existence for centuries. However, today we are exposed to chemical concentrations far greater than were our ancestors. Although the human mechanism is known to be accommodating, ecological alterations are now occurring at a faster rate than our bodies are able to adapt. We are now faced with a situation where inadequacies or uncertainties centering around the manufacturing, use, storage, and disposal of toxic chemicals, have resulted in an overwhelming number of environmentally -induced illnesses.

Since 1965, over 4 million distinct chemical compounds have been reported in scientific literature. Over 6000 new chemicals were added to this list between 1965 and 1978. As of 1981, of over 70,000 chemicals in commercial production, 3,000 have been identified as intentionally added to our food supplies and over 700 in drinking water. During food processing and storage 10,000 other compounds can become an integral part of many commonly used foods. Added to this list of potential body toxins, petrochemicals, industrial waste, medical and street drugs, radiation (X-rays, nuclear fallout etc.) and tons of pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides, the result is an incredible chemical avalanche to have befallen the human race in a relatively short period of evolutionary history.
There is currently a wealth of scientific evidence showing that thousands of drugs, preservatives, pesticides, and other pollutants remain stored in the body long after exposure. We know for example that an organochlorinated pesticide such as the metabolites of DDT has a half life of between 20 and 50 years in the fat deposits of humans. According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency over 400 chemicals have been detected in human tissue; 48 were found in adipose tissue, 40 in breastmilk, 73 in the liver and over 250 in the blood.

The process of bodily accumulation and storage of toxins is known as “toxic bio-accumulation”. Though the predominant storage site in the body is the fatty tissue, toxins may re-enter the bloodstream during times of physical stress (i.e.. illness, fasting, excessive heat, exercise) or emotional stress. Every organ that is accessible to these chemicals, which have been mobilized or released from the fat, is being continually exposed at low levels. As stated by Dr. William L. Marcus, Senior Advisor and Chief Toxicologist for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, “It’s a chronic exposure. That’s why chemicals like dioxin, even in small amounts, are extremely dangerous. Unfortunately, the human body has no previous experience with these chemicals and there is no natural machinery in the body to break them down, much less eliminate them.
Full Spectrum Infrared Saunas
Human accumulation of such compounds as DDT, PCP, PCB, and dioxin, reflect biologically persistent chemicals which are partitioned in the body from water into lipids. Eventually the metabolizing of xenobiotics (chemicals foreign to the biological system) leads to the accumulation of the chemicals and/or their products in lipid deposits throughout the body, particularly in adipose tissue. The simple chemistry involved in this process can be illustrated by the fact that some chemicals readily dissolve in water, while others dissolve only in oil bases. Oil soluble chemicals, therefore, have a tendency to accumulate in body fatty tissue or lipids, which are also insoluble in water. There is no such thing as a fat “cell”…[rather] almost every cell has a fat component. The brain has a high fat content as does virtually every organ.
Directly or indirectly, toxic residues find their way into our air, food and water supplies. The net effect of this ecological overload is to alter the body’s balance or “homeostasis”. This interference with our natural biological tendencies to restore internal balance results in “disease” in one form or another. According to Professor Edward J. Calabrese of the University of Massachusetts, and author of Pollutants and High Risk Groups, “It is this homeostatic process which neutralizes the pollutant’s effect and returns the system to equilibrium.”

Marshall Mandell, MD, nationally renowned in the field of bio-ecologic medicine, wrote in a recent publication that the influx of chemicals in our society today “has resulted in a lowered threshold of resistance and subsequent inability to cope with the natural and unnatural environment due to altered body metabolism, enzyme dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, and hormonal imbalances.” Health depends on the balance of both external and internal environmental forces.

There is a wealth of literature documenting illnesses in humans from exposure to chemicals as listed above. These illnesses include cancers of virtually every organ system of the body, as well as leukemia, liver disease, pulmonary damage, anemia and blood changes, nervous system disease, immune system damage, psychological damage, reproductive and fertility impairment, and kidney dysfunction. There are also many sub-clinical abnormalities that are suspected to result from presumed chemical exposure and the list grows longer each year.

In response to the above facts, many health care practitioners have been recommending a vast array of detoxification programs. Circulating toxins and toxic bowels need proper cleansing. The removal of these toxins is relatively well known. When toxins are deposited in fat storage sites this becomes much more complicated. The only way to remove toxins from the fat storage sites is to mobilize the toxic fat. Heat-stress [of a sauna] is an effective method of removing fat-stored toxins from the body

"I have never felt so alive and I am young and never thought I was unhealthy. I haven’t had any cold symptoms, headaches or any minor problems since using my Clearlight Sauna and ridding the toxins. FAR INFRARED THERAPY

Infrared Heat and Infrared Therapy

rejuvenate-with-infrared
12 Years ago we used to get calls from people researching infrared saunas and they would ask, “I’m interested in a sauna. What is this “infrared stuff”. Now, more and more people like yourself have heard about the health benefits achieved from regular use of their infrared sauna. We hear every week from customers that tell us how much better they are feeling or the changes they have seen from using their Jacuzzi® infrared sauna.

Why is a Jacuzzi® Sauna so Effective?

model-in-clearlight-saunas
When you are sitting in a traditional sauna, you are sitting in a hot room; 180-220 degrees. In your Clearlight Premier or Clearlight Sanctuary Infrared Sauna™, about 20% of the heat is heating the air and the other 80% directly heats your body. The warming effect on your body stimulates your cardiovascular system, your immune system and your lymphatic system. Your bodies response to that is to sweat.

Warm your sauna up for 10-15 minutes then get in. As the infrared heat warms your body directly, you will start to sweat and you will sweat profusely. You will find you may actually sweat more in an infrared sauna than in a traditional rock sauna. Studies show that sweat from a traditional sauna contains about 3-5% toxins where sweat from your infrared sauna contains about 17-20% toxins. The detoxifying and deep penetrating heat from a Jacuzzi® sauna makes them very, very effective.

Low Temperature Therapy

Infrared therapy is low temperature therapy. The scientific principles that are used to calculate infrared emissions from a surface or body show that lower temperatures produce higher quality far infrared heat. A far infrared heater having a surface temperature of approximately 180-200° F, like our Clearlight True Wave™ Heaters, will produce much higher quality far infrared heat than a heater running at 450 degrees or, as some heaters do, 700 degrees. Add in the additional benefit of 1,000 watts of full spectrum infrared in our Clearlight Sanctuary Saunas™ and receive the ultimate in infrared therapy.

Warm up your sauna for about 10-15 minutes then get in. Once you are in your sauna turn the temperature all the way up. The temperature will climb during your 30-45 minute session. Because infrared therapy is low temperature therapy you will able to stay in longer, sweat more and receive more benefit.

Is the Cabin Temperature Important?

details-gallery - Premier-Keypad.jpg
The answer to this question is Yes and No. In an infrared sauna, the infrared heat warming your body is the most important aspect of your sauna. You can sit in your sauna with the door and roof vent open and you will still sweat and get the benefits of the healing and relaxing infrared heat. That being said, everyone wants the cabin temperature in their sauna to be warm as it is more comfortable to sit in and it helps raise core body temperature. The combination of excellent quality infrared heat and a sufficiently warm sauna cabin is the key to a quality far infrared sauna.

As a sauna manufacturer, we have to find that balance between heaters that produces excellent quality infrared heat that will penetrate deep into your body and heaters that generate enough infrared heat to warm the sauna so you are comfortable.

All Clearlight Sauna® models achieve this balance for an exceptional sauna session. Our heaters produce high quality infrared heat and do an excellent job of warming the sauna cabin.

Why is the Placement of the Heaters Important?

infrared-heater-placement
One of the keys to infrared therapy is warming your body core. This is achieved by concentrating the infrared heat on the front and back of your body. The heaters in your sauna are placed strategically to warm your body core and raise your core body temperature.

Our back wall heaters run the full length of your back. Our front heaters are located so they direct the infrared heat at your front core. They are very effective at heating your body core and helping your body detox.

Infrared Therapy is our Focus

As a wellness company, we focus on the therapeutic benefits of our Clearlight Sauna® models. Through years of R&D we have developed new and more effective features for our saunas and we continue to do so regularly.

We would be happy to discuss infrared heat and infrared therapy with you. Please call one of our knowledgeable infrared sauna specialists at 800 674-8896. We look forward to hearing from you.

The sauna is up, assembled, plugged in and we started using it over the weekend. We are thrilled with it. I really could not be happier. My doctor had recommended that I try one at a local body care place before we invested in our own. The one they have there is not a Clearlight and it’s fine but the Clearlight Sauna is much nicer. The Clearlight just seems to be higher quality overall. It’s better built and more comfortable as well. I am glad we got the three-person size. When G and I are in there together we have room to spread out a little.

A contractor friend of ours was over to visit and he pointed out details in the woodworking of the cabinet I would not have noticed otherwise. He was very impressed. Thanks!

THE BENEFITS OF LED COLOR LIGHT THERAPY

The History of Color Light Therapy

Color Light therapy is a technique of restoring imbalance by means of applying color to the body. Its history is rooted as far back as the Mayan culture.

In India, Ayurveda, an ancient form of medicine practiced for thousands of years, is based on the idea that every individual contains five elements of the universe which are present in specific proportions unique to each individual, including their personality type and constitution. When these elements are out of balance, Ayurveda works with the energies inherent in the colors of the spectrum to restore this balance.

In ancient Egypt the art of healing with color was founded in the Hermetic tradition, the Ancient Egyptians and Greeks used colored minerals, stones, crystals, salves, and dyes as remedies, and painted treatment sanctuaries in various shades of color.

In China, traditional Chinese medicine incorporates color to be associated with each organ and elemental system. This healing method looks at the idea that every individual is a balance. The first color wheel was invented by Sir Isaac Newton. He split white sunlight into red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, and blue. He then joined the two ends of the color spectrum together to show the natural progression of colors.

Light Therapy has been valued throughout history as a remarkable source of healing. Today, the therapeutic applications of light and color are being investigated in major hospitals and research centers worldwide. Results indicate that full-spectrum, ultraviolet, colored, and laser light can have therapeutic value for a range of conditions from chronic pain and depression to immune disorders

Medical Benefits

Light Therapy has been reported to reduce swelling, relieve pain, decrease inflammation, accelerate open wound healing and greatly reduce overall recovery after medical/surgical procedures. Patients have demonstrated increased range of motion, decreased muscle tension and spasm, and improved circulation.

Rejuvenating LED light therapy can be used for pain management such as joint and back pain, sore or torn muscles, sprains, arthritis, post-surgical scars, burns, wounds and more. When used with infrared technology, light therapy (phototherapy) is one of the most effective and noninvasive ways to repair the body.

Light therapy is also used to relieve Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). SAD effects individuals when the lack of sunlight results in seasonal depression. Phototherapy helps with SAD by resetting the internal biological clock (Circadian rhythms), helping individuals sleep better and regulate their mood. Even companies, such as GE and Philips, have created phototherapeutic product to improve and regulate mood.

Cosmetic Benefits

Light therapy is also a growing treatment for anti-aging. Many individuals have seen a reduction in the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, crow’s feet, and age spots.

Light therapy is “effective at improving the appearance of the face, neck and chest by reducing the signs of aging, wrinkles and age spots”, says Web M.D. Combined with infrared therapy, LED phototherapy can be a great way to revitalize skin. Light therapy energizes skin cells, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, giving skin back it’s youthful look.

Healing with Color

Color is light; split into different wavelengths vibrating at different speeds and at different frequencies. Objects that ABSORB all wavelengths and DO NOT reflect are black in nature. Objects that REFLECT all wavelengths and DO reflect are white in nature. Between black and white lies COLOR. Colors are wavelengths of energy that, to us, appear as color because of the potential and capabilities of the object to either absorb or reflect the energy.
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Violet
Red is called “The Great Energizer.” It loosens, releases stiffness and constrictions. It is excellent for areas that have become stiffened. Red is the first visible color we see after the infrared band is passed. It promotes cellular growth, stimulating the “will” aspect, or the circulatory system. It is therefore indicated for all colds, sluggish or dormant conditions, such as pneumonia, arthritis, anemia, as a liver stimulant, an energy builder, and for increasing circulation. Red links with and stimulates the base of the spine, causing the adrenal glands to release adrenalin. This results in greater strength. Red causes hemoglobin to multiply, thus increasing energy raising body temperature conditions as it stimulates sensory nerves such as hearing, taste, smell, and activates metabolism. It is excellent for anemia or blood-related conditions.
Orange has a freeing action upon the mind, relieving repression. Because orange is a blend of red and yellow, it combines physical energy with mental wisdom, inducing a transformation between lower physical reaction and higher mental response. Thus, it is often referred to as “The Wisdom Ray.” Orange is warm, cheering, and non-constricting. Through orange, we are able to heal the physical body (red) and, at the same time, induce within the mind (yellow) greater understanding. Orange helps assimilate new ideas. Orange is the best emotional stimulant, helping to remove inhibitions paving independent social behavior. Bring joy to your workday and strengthen your appetite for life. Orange aids in repairing inflammation of the kidneys, gallstones, menstrual cramps, epilepsy, wet cough and all sinus conditions.
Yellow helps awaken mental inspiration arousing higher mentality. Thus, it is an excellent color for nervous or nerve-related conditions or ailments; fueling the solar plexus. Yellow has a very enriching effect upon the intellect. Yellow can be used for conditions of the stomach, liver, and intestines. It can help the pores of the skin by repairing scarred tissue. These rays have an alkalizing effect which strengthens the nerves. Awakening, inspiring and vitally stimulating the higher mind promoting self-control. Typical diseases treated by yellow are constipation, gas, liver troubles, diabetes, eczema and nervous exhaustion. Providing clarity of thought, increasing awareness, stimulating interest and curiosity yellow energy is related to the ability to perceive or understand. The yellow energy connects us to our mental self
Green is the universal healing color. Green is midway in the color spectrum; therefore, it contains both a physical nature and a spiritual nature, in equal balance and in equal harmony. Thus, green can be used for just about any condition in need of healing. When in doubt, green will always work. Help relax muscles, nerves, and thoughts. The color green cleanses and balances our energy, to give a feeling of renewal, peace and harmony. Used primarily for balancing our whole being It is neither relaxing nor astringent in its impact. In a more practical sense, green affects blood pressure and all conditions of the heart. Having both an energizing effect, moderating, or soothing effect. Green can help heal many illnesses of this nature, specifically including heart troubles, decreasing and stabilizing blood pressure, ulcers, cancer, headaches, nervous disorders and influenza, and acts as a general tonic.
Blue on the other hand, is at the opposite end of the visible spectrum. Blue can be used for any type of ailments associated with speech, communication, or the throat. This is a mentally relaxing color. Blue has a pacifying effect on the nervous system encouraging great relaxation. It is ideal for sleep problems. Blue light connects us to holistic thought, and gives us wisdom and clarity enhancing communication and speech. Relaxing, soothing blue rays bring great calm and peace to the mind that is worried, excited, or in a constant nervous state. It is a very positive color, indicating loyalty and reliability, as expressed in the sentiment of being “true blue.”
Violet is the last color we can see before light passes on to ultra-violet. This color is an excellent remedy for neurosis, diseases of the scalp, sciatica, tumors, rheumatism, cerebralspinal meningitis, concussion, cramps and epilepsy. Violet animates and cleans the venous blood. It is generally not used for physical conditions; however, some color experts believe that it does provide nourishment to the cells in the upper brain.

Violet purifies our thoughts and feelings giving us inspiration in all undertakings. The violet energy connects us to our spiritual self bringing guidance, wisdom and inner strength, and enhances artistic talent and creativity. Leonardo da Vinci proclaimed that you can increase the power of meditation ten fold by meditating under the gentle rays of violet, as found in church windows.
Light therapy uses colors for their proposed healing abilities in treating emotional and physical disturbances. Light therapy is based on the premise that different colors evoke different responses in people. For example, some colors are considered to be stimulating, whereas others may be soothing. Color therapy has been suggested for many uses, based on tradition or on scientific heories. Consult with a health care provider before using color therapy for any use.

We are very happy to report that our Clearlight three person Infrared Sauna arrived on Friday, Oct. 7, 2106. We are delighted with this product, and we are using the unit every day! Here are some details: The transportation time from California to Michigan took only 7 days. We were able to track the shipment of the product on a daily basis. His truck had a hydraulic lift, and the skid load off-loaded within minutes. The entire shipment was very well protected, and thoroughly packaged. We inspected each box, and we signed for the delivery. You folks at Clearlight sure know how to package these complete units!! Hat’s off to your engineering and shipping
departments. Several panels were quite heavy. The three of us did very well. The unit was brought down to our lower level. The various panels went together very accurately, and smoothly. We were all very impressed with the ease of assembly. I would say, from start to finish, we carefully took just over an hour. The only tool we used was a box cutter, to open the various cartons.

When we finished the assembly of the sauna, we were able to plug the unit in and enjoy the start of a calculated warm-up. The last three days, we have seen numerous friends arrive at our home, and be very impressed by our new Clearlight Sauna. I want to say a special Thank You to you, Jessica. You were there, by phone, internet, etc. with great product knowledge, no sales pressure, leading us through this journey. I am sure that you compliment your marketing staff, and offer convenient professional assistance.

My wife, Betty, continues her fight against Ovarian Cancer. To this date, we are winning this dreadful battle. With the use of your sauna, we will continue to fight the growth of cancer cells with the use of internal heat. We hope that we can manage her cancer for many, many years. Thank you again for this wonderful product. We will continue to show our friends, and talk up our new Clearlight sauna
